The Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament and Most Promising Player of the Tournament nominees for the 2021 Premier Soccer League awards have been revealed.

Following Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila's historic triumph over Chippa United in the final, it comes as no surprise to see a player from each side represented amongst the six names.

Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, who scored in the quarter-finals and the only goal in the final has been named amongst the Player of the Tournament candidates alongside his teammate Washington Arubi.

Meanwhile, the Chilli Boys have midfielder Maloisane Mokhele amongst the Most Promising Player category, which has also sprung a surprise nomination of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom.

The 21-year-old has undoubtedly been one of the breakout stars for Amakhosi this season but his involvement in the competition was a second-half appearance in the 2-1 second-round defeat to Richards Bay.
