Baroka rung the warning bells after beating Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 on penalties to win the inaugural F.A.M.E Charity Cup played in Polokwane on Saturday.

Thobejane says his side are now raring to go ahead of their top-flight debut, and says they aim to make a clean sweep of the league and cups.

“We more than ready [to play in the PSL]. We don’t want only to win one cup but all the trophies in the PSL,” Thobejane tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“The team is fit; everything is perfect. We are raring to go.”

Ugandan striker Geofrey Massa was also handed his Baroka debut during the F.A.M.E Charity Cup tournament and, though he may lack match fitness, Thobejane believes that the former Bloemfontein Celtic attacker will be a key man to help them get goals iduring the course of the season.

“He [Massa] has been training with us for only one week," he added. ”We wanted to give him only 45 minutes and to keep working on his fitness.”

”He is a great finisher and he is going to help us lot in the PSL next season."

Bakgaga will host Ajax Cape Town in their Absa Premiership opener at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on August 23.
