Maritzburg, who are propping up the Absa Premiership table with 11 points from 18 games, will visit Spurs at Puma Rugby Stadium on Sunday (15h00).
“A win on Sunday will change a lot in our camp,” Ofori said. “It will push us to keep on fighting in the relegation battle.”
The Ghanaian added: “It is not a good time for any team to face us. We are very hungry for a win. We haven't won a game in three months.
“Our opponents must be ready to face a tough Maritzburg United.”
Ofori is mindful Spurs, who are also fighting for survival in the National First Division, enter the match on the back of a 4-1 rout of fellow second-tier strugglers Real Kings.
However, he is confident the Team of Choice will see off Shakes Mashaba’s side.
“We saw what they did in their last game. It will be hard for them to face a well-motivated team like us.
“We are ready to bring back smiles to our supporters.”
Ofori says his team are also deriving motivation from making the final of the competition last season, where they lost to Free State Stars.
“Losing a final last season is also motivation to do well on Sunday and for the rest of the tournament. We are ready to fight.”
