Qalinge and Rakhale have not seen any action since the beginning of the year after undergoing knee procedures during the January AFCON break.

However, both players last month returned to full training and are currently working on regaining their sharpness.

Jonevret has confirmed that the influential attackers could be available for their next fixture – the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday – once he assesses them in a friendly match this week.

"They are close now," assured Jonevret. "Hopefully we will have a friendly game this week so that I can see them in 90 minutes.

"But everybody is now back in training."

The Swede has also expressed his happiness with captain Oupa Manyisa's contribution to the team in their last few games.

"When I arrived, everybody talked that Oupa has been a little bit down, his form has not been good," he added.

"I think he has been a key player for the team in the last five, six, seven games that I've been here now. He is important for us.

"He does a lot of work in defence and is comfortable on the ball. He is an important guy [for the team]."
