Nengomasha back in Warriors' squad

The two were initially omitted from the squad much to the surprise of many football followers when the names were released to the media last week.

But former Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu who is turns out for Mamelodi Sundowns is not part of the squad despite the fact that he has been playing well for his South African club.

Observers, however, say the development signals the end of Ndlovu’s international career with the Warriors.

“The coach decided to broaden the player base and sothe list of the players was revised. Both Nengomashaand Kawondera are in the new team,” team manager Sharrif Mussa told snl24.com/kickoff yesterday.

The team which comprises mostly locally-based playerswent into camp yesterday but Mussa said they were still having communication problems with foreign basedplayers.

The team is expected to play an international friendlymatch against Mozambique on Wednesday.

Zimbabwe is drawn alongside Guinea, Namibia and Kenya in the 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup qualifiers.
