According to the latest advertisement, which was posted this week, interested parties are required to notify the city by March 15. This is after the previous tenders failed to meet the requirements.
2010 spokesman Pieter Cronje said the city wanted to award the tender for the stadium operator by June.
The final agreement between the successful bidder and the city will be in the form of a lease agreement or a management contract for between 10 and 30 years.
The new 68 000-seater stadium, which is expected to be completed by December 2009, will host nine World Cup matches, including a semi-final.
