According to media reports Ngake got onto the score sheet for his club ACB Hanoi when he netted early in the second half to make it 2-1 at home against Khanh Hoa. However, the visiting side scored twice to complete a 4-1 rout.

The result left Ngake’s outfit third-bottom, a point behind Philani Kubheka’s Binh Duong and Kabanga Tshamala’s Dong Tam.

While defending champions Binh Duong lost 1-0 away to Nam Dinh, Tshamala’s club was thumped 3-0 in front of their home crowd by the team of another ex-PSL player Liswa Nduti.

The former Democratic Republic of Congo international defender, who turned out for Manning Rangers and AmaZulu before emigrating to Vietnam this season, featured in Song Lam Nghe Ahn FC’s win which lifted them to sixth on the table.

After marking out countryman Tshamala, Nduti will next look forward to keeping Ngake quiet when their teams meet in the quarterfinals of the National Cup.
