The Moroka Swallows frontman limped off injured in the first half, minutes after scoring the winning goal against Lesotho and spent the entire evening with a strap around his right foot and seemingly in excruciating pain.

The team’s doctors have, however, assured Kick Off that the injury was too serious to keep him out of the match against Mauritius scheduled for Monday.

“I am happy that the doctors have assured me that this is a light injury and that I will be fit to play against on Monday,” the 18-year-old says.
