Ngobese, who has been put on transfer together with five other Phunya Sele Sele players, began training with the Beautiful Birds yesterday in the hope of landing a contract before the transfer window closes.
Birds’ head coach Ian Gorowa confirms the presence of the KwaZulu Natal-born midfielder at training and adds that he wants to give Ngobese a chance to prove himself.
“I will have to look at him closely before making decision whether to sign him or not.”
Swallows’ defender Tebogo Monyai tells snl24.com/kickoff that Ngobese showed flashes of brilliance in his first day at training and says will not be surprised if Swallows sign him.
Also training with Swallows is former Supersport United midfielder Alfred Phiri who is expected to finalise deal with the team's management this week.
Another ex-Celtic player, Thapelo Liau is expected to arrive at the Nest today to begin a try-out.
