Frontzeck, who has taken his team to Spain for training, says he did so to assess players who had not featured prominently during Ernest Middendorp’s spell at the Bundesliga outfit.
According to the German soccer website, Kicker, Frontzeck is impressed with the South African, contrary to the expectations of many as the attacking midfielder has only made five substitute appearances with the team.
Talking after Bielefeld’s 2-1 victory over a Spanish side Padeborn, Frontzeck says Nkosi’s injury which caused his setback in Germany has completely healed and he is looking forward to using offensive midfielder extensively on the wings, in either a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 formation
He adds that the fact that Nkosi has not been called up to the African Cup Nations has benefitted the player and that he looking forward to adding the central midfielder to his core of attack force of Wichniarek, Eigler, Sibusiso Zuma and currently injured Ionnas Masmanidis.
