Omony finally gets Cranes' call-up

The team that is at home to Niger on May 31 begin training on May 21.

The list contains two changes, with Rwanda-based Atraco FC defender Godfrey Kateregga and goalkeeper Omony finally earning national calls again.

South Africa-based Denis Onyango (Supersport United), Timothy Batabaire (Celtic), David Obua (Kaizer Chiefs) and Geoffrey Massa (Jomo Cosmos) are expected in the country on May 21.

Austria-based Cranes skipper Ibrahim Sekajja and Sweden-based duo of Abubaker Tabula and Mike Serumagga plus Serbia’s pair of Nestroy Kizito and Eugene Sepuuya will also arrive on the same day.

Also expected are Hassan Bajope (St George, Ethiopia), Joseph Kabagambe (Rwanda) and Noah Kasule (Armenia).The Iceland pair of Andy Mwesigwa and Augustine Nsumba will be the last to report to the camp on May 25.

“We have already sent to them air tickets,” Fufa media person Rogers Mulindwa said.
