Phiri back in Brondby squad, Mashamaite, Scott may also play Sunday

Phiri missed the 1-0 win at Scottish side Hibernian in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday after failing to obtain a visa in time to travel.

He has also suffered the disappointment of missing out on a place at the 2016 Olympic Games this week after Brondby failed to release him for the tournament.

It could move Phiri closer to an exit at the side after revealing Olympic participation would form part of his new contract talks with Brondby with his current deal to expire at the end of the season.

Also potentially in action on Sunday is Tefu Mashamaite, who is slowly making his way back from injury at Swedish side Hacken. They are away at Orebro this evening.

Granwald Scott will hope for his first minutes of the season as his Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava open their 2016/17 campaign at Senica.
