Phiri has named six South Africa based players in his squad. Zambia is in Group C of the 26th Africa Cup of Nations alongside Cameroon, Egypt and Sudan.
Phiri said he was confident that the players in the final team would live up to expectations, adding that the Chipolopolo Boys’ camp in Spain would be helpful in blending the team together.
