Al Ahly set sights on Mamelodi Sundowns star Gaston Sirino as Ramadan Sobhi replacement

An insider at the record eight-time African champions confirmed to that Sirino is "one of several targets" for next season and remains hopeful that an agreement can be reached.

However, the club is understood to have been issued a hands-off warning for the 29-year-old, who has become a central figure in coach Pitso Mosimane's starting line-up.

Attempts to contact The Brazilians over the future of Sirino proved futile as the club refused to be drawn into the speculation rising within Egyptian media.

Sirino enjoyed an impressive campaign before football was suspended with 11 goals and seven assists in 32 games across all competitions.
