Former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper coach Alex Heredia has named who he believes are the three top goalkeepers in the DStv Premiership at the moment.
According to the Heredia, Mamelodi Sundowns' Ronwen Williams and AmaZulu's Veli Mothwa are the three best goalkeepers in the country at the moment.
1)RONWEN WILLIAMS:
"For me the number one goalkeeper right now is Ronwen, he is the one who plays most games. And at Sundowns again he is the number one.
"Definitely not the best in the world and not the best in Africa. If you talking about goalkeepers specifically, we talk about positioning, diving, footwork, angle play, and closing down in one on one.

"In general terms, number one is playing regularly. Now definitely, Ronwen is not a show-stopper. He is a goalkeeper who organises well his defense. When necessary he can dive."
2)VELI MOTHWA:
"Aerial balls it's not his best strength. But definitely inside the small box he is in control.
"He makes unbelievable saves, one on one opportunity he is good."
3)RICARDO GOSS:
"For me currently the third best goalkeeper is Ricardo Goss. Because he is starting to play regularly at Supersport United. He is doing well he's got several clean sheets, he has stature, he has lot of presence.
"He is one of top contenders in the PSL."
Heredia believes TS Galaxy FC's Melusi Buthelezi's name also deserves a mention.
"This one he is a great prospect. He's producing good performances.
"But as for number one it's Ronwen Williams he's got all the attributes of a great goalkeeper."
