AmaZulu player update

accreditation

Usuthu have brought in experienced winger Shange on a two-year deal, while also handing three-year contracts to goalkeeper Siyabonga Mngoma, teenage defender Tapelo Nyongo and 23-year-old striker Mfanufuthi Dlamini. Young forward Darren Smith has also joined the Durban-based outfit.

Shange was previously at Golden Arrows; Mngoma at Thanda Royal Zulu; Nyongo at the Old Mutual Academy; Dlamini was competing in the ABC Motsepe League and Smith was at Ajax Cape Town.

Mngoma, who was recruited to offset Zikalala's move to Orlando Pirates, told Usuthu's official website: “I’m happy to get another chance to play in the PSL, more especially because AmaZulu is a professional side with high expectations.

“I’m excited and I believe given the opportunity I’ll do my best for the team.”

Meanwhile, Zikalala and Manqana left Moses Mabhida Stadium after their deals expired. Jakob and Zondi were released, as was Mvalo at his request due to insufficient game-time.
