Ntuli completed a loan switch to Usuthu before the close of the recent transfer window, after again being excluded from the Sundowns squad for the current season.
The 27-year-old has failed to make the cut for a fifth consecutive season since signing for The Brazilians from Golden Arrows in 2014, after spending the past two years at Cape Umoya United – formerly known as Platinum Stars.
Following their relegation to the First Division and subsequent relocation to Cape Town, Ntuli opted for a return instead to AmaZulu, with whom he spent the second half of the 2014/15 season.
The powerful striker has now expressed his delight at being back in his hometown of Durban, as well as his reunion with former Dikwena coach Cavin Johnson.
“I am very pleased to be back here at AmaZulu because it is my home team,” Ntuli told AmaZulu’s official website.
“I’m also glad to have reunited with Cavin Johnson. That makes me very happy. He likes working with the strikers.
“I used to do some extra training with him. Doing some finishing drills with him helped me a lot [in the 2016/17 season].”
The Abafana Bes’thende youth graduate has vowed to regain his scoring form, and is excited to be teaming up with veteran forwards Mabhuti Khenyeza and Siyabonga Nomvethe.
“I am going to score goals here at AmaZulu because it is an attacking team,” he stated.
“I am looking forward to working with Khenyeza and Nomvethe. They have been playing for a very long time and they also have a lot of experience, so I am going to learn a lot from them.”
Ntuli, who managed five goals in 20 Absa Premiership starts last season, could make his first appearance for Usuthu against Kaizer Chiefs on September 22.
