Veteran AmaZulu defender Tsepo Masilela is expecting a tough game when Usuthu play host to Orlando Pirates on Wednesday.

Last season's DStv Premiership runners-up currently occupy ninth place in the league standings after a run of four consecutive draws and will be looking to improve on those results when they welcome Orlando Pirates to the Kings Park Stadium.

The Buccaneers have endured a similalry inconsistent start to the campaign and currently rank seventh log and former Bafana Bafana defender Masilela is expecting a tight game when the two sides meet.

"The guys are looking forward to the game," the 36-year-old told Usuthu's media team.

"The games are coming thick and fast and we need to pick up points at some point. We need to start winning and it's a home game, but the last game [against Royal AM] was at home as well and we only got one point.

"In this league there are no easy games so it's going to be a tough one, we are expecting a tough game against a very good side. I think we've been having good performances but mainly disappointing results, but it's another PSL game where we are playing for three points.

"If we can continue performing and creating chances, somehwere, somehow we will start winning but it's also important that we dont get ahead of ourselves because every game has its challenges.

"As long as we defend well and do the right things going forward and create chances and take those chances [we will have a chance against Pirates].

"But again, we also playing against a good, strong opponent. Individually they are good and they have a good coach [Mandla Ncikazi] who was at Arrows last year. It's not going to be easy, there are no easy games."
