AmaZulu have dismissed fake reports of a planned trophy parade and party before the club contest a highly-anticipated MTN8 final against Orlando Pirates at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Posters of celebratory events have been circulating on social media that Usuthu have already planned a trophy parade and after party before Saturday's final.

Usuthu have admitted to exploring the possibility of hosting an event that was never finalised.

"We can confirm that we did hold talks with Maskandi star Khuzani, the event organiser about a possible partnership around his Gcwalisa Spring Picnic but nothing was confirmed," said a club statement.

"Amazulu FC are not involved in the event but we fully support and back Khuzani!


"We urge our fans to come in numbers and support this event which promises to be a vibrant celebration of South African music.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
