Grobbelaar recently said that in the year 2000 he signed a pre-contract with The Brazilians after being asked to coach the team.
According to the former Liverpool shot-stopper, the Tsichlas family changed their minds and opted for Clemens Westerhof but he got paid for a three-year contract without even coaching the team.
"And so, it was breaking the agreement I had with them. I took them to court. And I got paid three years of the three-year contract without coaching the team once," Grobelaar was quoted as saying.
"This is not what happened, we never changed our mind. He had a big court case overseas and we discovered that. I think he forgot the whole storym" Tsichlas first told snl24.com/kickoff via text message.
When contacted to elaborate on the message, the 'Iron lady' replied: "Let me speak first to Angelo, and Maria who was handling the contracts as well, to come back to you. Because I cannot give you the exact details.
"I cannot remember a story like this [laughs]. After so many years you know, I don't want to give you information that is not accurate. So let me speak to Angelo, then we'll talk hey. I don't recall anything like this."
Since September 2 we have been trying to get hold of Tsichlas without any success.
