Venezuelan striker Jose Ali Meza has reportedly terminated his contract by mutual consent with DStv Premiership side Maritzburg United.
Meza had been out of action after suffering a long-term knee injury during a league encounter against Orlando Pirates last season.
According to sources close to the 30-year-old attacker, Meza has since returned back home to South America while deciding his future.
"Alie Meza has terminated his contract with Maritzburg United," the source revealed.

"He is a free agent now and is 100% fit and fully recovered from his previous injury.
"He is waiting for new offers from both South Africa and South America."
United have already lost the services of striker Bongokuhle Hlongwane who on Tuesday signed for MLS side Minnesota United.
