The 31-year-old hopes to join a Johannesburg-based outfit following his exit from Aces in the off-season.
"I'm still looking for something in Jozi, I'm currently a free agent," Hendricks says.
"I want a PSL club. I still have a few years left, I'm only 31 years old. I spoke to one or two teams but I haven't received any feedback as yet. Highlands Park mainly, but they already signed like 12 (players). It's very frustrating but I just have to believe and wait."
The ex-Bidvest Wits and Moroka Swallows defender says he is fit and believes his record in the topflight speaks for itself.
"The last team I played for was Mpumalanga Black Aces last season, I played 15 games. Unfortunately I was out for three months with an ankle injury. But I'm fully fit now as I've already played the last five games for Aces. PSL clubs know what I'm capable of, I have been in the PSL for more than 10 years now."
