Augustine Kwem set to leave Chippa United after failed contract talks

Gamildien surprised everyone when he signed for The Dube Birds this week after spending less than a year in Port Elizabeth since his return from Steenberg United.

The Chilli Boys are now also set to lose one of their key players in Kwem after he failed to renew his contract with the club.

The Nigerian striker's agent Eldon Smith has confirmed that his client has not managed to reach an agreement with Chippa and has options to move to another team next season.

"Augustine Kwem is currently a free agent, Chippa United have not managed to reach an agreement with the player and his representatives," Smith tells KickOff.com.

"There's been interest shown from clubs, both nationally and abroad."

Efforts to get hold of Chippa United boss Siviwe Mpengesi regarding the departures of Gamildien and Kwem proved futile as he failed to respond to our calls.
