The Limpopo outfit find themselves rock bottom of the league table and have some tough fixtures ahead of them, with title-chasing SuperSport United next in line.
Baroka did, however, give themselves plenty of confidence after holding PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs to a 2-2 draw last time out, giving club CEO Morgan Mammila hope of retaining their top-flight status.
"We are very happy with the one point gained from Kaizer Chiefs,” Mammila tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"If we can just get another one point in our next match against SuperSport we will be very satisfied.
“One point will be fine, three [points] will be a bonus, as long as we don't lose. But somewhere, somehow, bakhona abazolahla [some teams will lose focus and drop points].
"In our last four games, we will be out of this [relegation battle]. After SuperSport it’s Free State Stars and that one is a guaranteed three points for us.
“You must also remember that Highlands Park, [Bloemfontein] Celtic and Maritzburg [United] are still coming. We must beat three teams out of those four. If you lose to the bottom of the league teams it means you are out."
Mammila says the performance displayed by Bakgaga against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday last week has brought back belief and confidence to his players.
"I still say we will finish very strong this season, and the way we will finish is the very same way we will start next season,” he concludes.
