The charismatic coach, who so boldly claimed he would win the PSL next season, insists that he does not need official credentials in order to prove he has what it takes.
"I don't have any coaching papers, I have never attended any courses, but I understand football," Thobejane says.
"I am not even planning to attend these coaching courses because I already understand the practicality of football more than theory.
"Why should I go to coaching school myself? Football is a calling for me. Those that want coaching courses are the ones that must come to me. All that I need are players to coach."
Thobejane went on to outline the philosophy he employs that yielded such success in the National First Division as Baroka claimed the title.
"When you talk about my coaching philosophy then it is defensive possession," he explained. "Football starts at the back, because the point is to get the opponent to come to you and by doing so they will open up spaces that we can take advantage of."
