After a goalless draw, Baroka won the penalty shootout with some quality executions and three great saves from goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke.

“This is what as Baroka we need. We are ready and you know what, we want to win cups. We need to be champions every time we play football because it must be our norm in Baroka,” he told SuperSport.

Thobejane was philosophical when asked about the problem of missing chances in front of goal.

“It happened again this game, but in a game of football this thing of missing a chance is a challenge, it’s not a problem,” he explained.

“When you play football you must know that you can create 20 chances and just score one goal, that’s football.”

The coach was also full of praise for Masuluke, who saved penalties from Willard Katsande, William Twala and George Maluleka.

“That boy, I knew, I knew that he’s going to make it, he’s very cool when it comes to those penalties, and this thing it’s our norm and when we train we used to give him a tough time, 30 players, each one takes a penalty, so if he can be able, why not today?” he concluded.
