Belgian interest in Kaizer Chiefs star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo

An unnamed Belgian club is believed to have made initial enquiries into the availability of breakout Kaizer Chiefs star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

Ngcobo - who turns 22-years-old on Tuesday - rose to prominence last season after being promoted into the Amakhosi first-team.

However, despite playing an instrumental role to help the Phefeni Glamor Boys qualify for their first-ever CAF Champions League final, the Kwazulu-Natal born midfielder has found life tough under Stuart Baxter this season with his playing time limited.

According to numerous sources, enquiries have been made on Ngcobo's availability in Belgium even though no official offer has been made to Kaizer Chiefs.

"There is believed to have been an exchange of emails between middle-men who are interested in bringing Ngcobo to Belgium and his agent," said a source.

"An official offer is expected to be submitted to Kaizer Chiefs soon," the source said.

"The only big worry now is that he is not getting more game-time at Kaizer Chiefs at the moment."

Happy Mashiane is another youngster that showed huge initial potential at Kaizer Chiefs last season but has struggled for game-time since Baxter's return.
