Ben Motshwari bemoans late equaliser

Man-of-the-match Ben Motshwari insists Orlando Pirates 'let themselves down' after conceding a late goal in their 2-2 draw with Cape Town City.

Pirates were leading 2-1 with four minutes remaining before Craig Martin nodded home the equaliser to earn City a share of the spoils in Cape Town.

Motshwari feels they only have themsleves to blame the dropped points.

"I dont know what to say, We conceded an early goal once again," Motshwari told Supersport TV.

"Last minute we lose concentration in such a crucial game. I'm lost for words. We should never have conceded such a goal. It was a lack of concentration in the dying minutes of the game. Like I said that was an easy goal to concede. I'm disappointed. I think as a club you know we did this to ourselves.

"We can't give up, We have to soldier on. We'll take this point and hopefully it will mean something at the end of the season.

"We let ourselves down. We started badly. We ended badly. We showed character after they scored. We came at them. We scored two goals. We should have wrapped it up. We had so many chances. But this is football how is. If you don't take your chances, this is what happens."
