Black Leopards head coach Dylan Kerr says there will be nothing different in their approach for Saturday's important league encounter against bottom-club Maritzburg United.
Although they sit 13th on the log table, Leopards are also not yet safe from relegation as they are only two points away from the relegation playoffs spot.
"We are going to go into the game as just another league game," Kerr tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"You know every game is massive for Black Leopards so there's no difference whether it's Maritzburg, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns or anybody else in the PSL. Every game is massive for us.
"So we're just going to go into it with a mindset as good as we've come in our backyard."
Kerr was asked what he thought of Maritzburg's midweek performance against Orlando Pirates.
"Playing Pirates and playing Black Leopards is a different ball game because when you are playing the biggest teams your mindset changes and you play differently," he explained.
"It's our home game, we have the advantage, because we have a job to do. Except the brand of football we play, the results have not been good to us. I don't want make it an excuse but to play the game of football three games in one week, then you have another ten days off... it doesn't help because you want to keep playing football.
"I expect a battle. We've put ourselves in a position where only we can make a difference. We've got a team that is full of goals but we don't take our chances."
Kick-off at Thohoyandou Stadium is at 15h00.
