accreditation can confirm that Black Leopards are in talks with Luc Eymael to take over the coaching reins.

Leopards dropped a bombshell on Tuesday and fired French coach Lionel Soccoia after only five matches of the league this season, with assistant coach Patrick Mabedi and team manager Professor Ngubane also following him out the exit door.

According to a source close to Leopards, the club have already made contact with the former Polokwane City and Free State Stars coach and believe he is the right candidate to take the club to greater heights.

"The chairman always wanted Luc Eymael to come to Black Leopards but last time the coach did not agree to come because he was committed to his club in Egypt," the source tells

"There has been contact again. They are busy talking and a decision could be made before Friday."
