Black Leopards are reportedly planning a move for Ghanaian forward Nicholas Gyan in the next transfer window.
Lidoda Duvha head coach Luc Eymael has confirmed the player's agent contacted him about the Simba SC player.
Gyan joined Simba in 2017 and helped them win the Tanzanian Premier League and also reach the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
If the move does materialise Gyan will join his former teammate James Kotei, who is with Kaizer Chiefs, in the Absa Premiership.

The 21-year-old Gyan can play as a right-back, right-winger and as a centre-forward.
According to the Ghanaian media, Gyan is close to moving to South Africa to join the Limpopo side.
"I know the player but I never discussed with the player, I don't know," Eymael tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"It's just an agent who sent me the name of the player like so many agents who are sending me names you know. I don't know, perhaps he spoke with the bosses.

"I don't know if the guy called the club or didn't call the club you know. I said to the agent that I know the player, it's all that I said. But it's not time now to speak about it."
Asked if in January he might invite the player for a trial, the Belgian coach was open to the idea.
"Perhaps, but it's not really me, first of all he have to speak with the management you know. There are so many people who want to come. We have to release someone first [a foreigner] before taking someone."
