Cape Town City has confirmed the club-record signing of Colombian striker Juan Camilo Zapata on a four-year deal.
The Colombian striker joins the Cape Town-based outfit on a four year deal that will take effect from January 2023 and was signed from Venezuelan top-flight outfit CD Hermanos Colmenarez.
The deal has long been in the works for Eric Tinkler's side who have had the forward on their radar for months prior to an official offer after the striker netted 19 goals in 35 appearances for his former side CD Hermanos Colmenarez last season.

Having won just three matches in 11 outings this season, Tinkler will be hoping the 28-year-old forward can present a change of fortunes for the Citizens.
Zapata will be an added option to City's attacking line that includes Khanyisa Mayo, Wayde Lakay and Darn Gonzalez.
City will return to DStv Premiership action with a clash against Royal AM on 30 December before meeting SuperSport United on 3 January.
