Chippa United chairman Mpengesi open to Zulu offers

The 27-year-old has scored four goals this season, with his profile rising after netting a superb solo effort against Orlando Pirates on 27 September.

Mpengesi confirms there is interest in Zulu, with Kaizer Chiefs thought to be among the Bafana Bafana newcomer's suitors.

"I'm happy that Zulu, through working for me, he is able to attract good offers elsewhere," Mpengesi says.

"I'm proud of him and I told him that. So we have accepted and agreed that we are open for offers. So it looks like something will happen about him and we wish him all the best."

Mpengesi, though, was non-committal when pressed for a price tag and the identity of Zulu's admirers.

"As I said, I'm not here in football for business. For me the priority is the well-being of the player. If he is happy where he wants to go, look, the rest will follow later."
