Chippa United have snapped up another player as they continue the process of rebuilding the team under the leadership of Lehlohonolo Seema.
The Chilli Boys have been busy this week, releasing 15 players as part of reshuffling and refreshing the squad ahead of the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season.
Former Highlands Park midfielder Ryan Rae was unveiled on a three-year deal on Thursday and follows the signings of Sizwe Mdlinzo, Ramasimong Maloisane, Bienvenu Eva Nga and Riaan Hanamub earlier this week.
This website has now been reliably informed that Tsietsi Khooa, a defender who was part of Bloemfontein Celtic's MultiChoice Diski Challenge team in the 2015/16 season, has agreed to join the Eastern Cape side to reunite with Seema.
"Khooa has returned to South Africa to join Chippa United, he has completed a two-year deal with a one-year option," a close source reveals to snl24.com/kickoff.
The 29-year-old was previously on the books of Bantu FC in Lesotho and has played in the CAF Champions League.
