Chippa United appear set to continue with Morgan Mammila as head coach after recording consecutive wins since the departure of Daine Klate.

Mammila took over the reins at the Chilli Boys after serving as an assistant to Klate since the beginning of the season.

The former Baroka FC CEO is working alongside Siyabulela Gwambi to revive the fortunes of his side after a disappointing start to the season.

"If it's not broken, why fix it," Mammila said when questioned if he will welcome the idea of staying on as head coach.

“To be honest, I am enjoying working with the players. They are hungry for success.

"There is nothing much that has changed except that they are now playing according to their strengths.

"They are motivated to play good football, and playing good football is motivation in itself."

Chippa United are currently eight in the league standings with 11 points after nine games played so far this season.
