Despite the relegation axe hovering over their heads, Chippa United coach Clinton Larsen is confident he will keep his job until the end of the season.
The Chilli Boys are in the relegation playoff position in 15th on the log but the coach remains confident they will survive.
"Some people said I must not unpack my bags and I won't last for one month. I have been there four months," said Larsen.
"He [Chippa Mpengesi] is happy with my work. At the end of the day all I do is my best. I think everybody can see the type of work I have done since I took over.
"Just to let you know, after 17 games when I took over four coaches accumulated 12 points and I got 12 points in nine games. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that there has been significance improvement in terms of performance and results," he explained.
Chippa face Cape Town City at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth tonight (20h00).
