The Lidoda Duvha boss has been banned from participating in any football-related activity for a year after he threatened referee Victor Hlungwani.

Thidiela appeared before the Dispute Resolution chamber on Friday to appeal his ban, but the matter had to be postponed.

"The matter was postponed," the League's prosecutor Nande Becker told KickOff.com.

"Black Leopards and Mr Thidiela himself couldn't provide records of the previous proceedings. Any person that takes a matter, or any party that takes a matter on appeal to SAFA, needs to provide the SAFA Appeals Board and all the other parties with the typed transcript of the proceedings that they are appealing against, and Leopards and Thidiela didn't do that.

"So we got to the hearing on Friday evening, and there was no transcript to the matter, we couldn't proceed and the matter had to be postponed. The matter had to be postponed because... we couldn't carry on because they hadn't done what they were supposed to do.

"A [new] date hasn't been set but they have seven days to get the records."
