SuperSport made two changes from the 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy, as Selaelo Rasebotja and Siyabonga Nhlapo were both recalled while Arrows were unchanged from the win over Kaizer Chiefs, as Knox Mutizwa and Pule Mmodi led the attack.

The game got off to a quick start as United were awarded a penalty in the 12th minute after Thabani Zuke clipped Iqraam Rayners down in the box and Jamie Webber gave them the lead with a clinical looping strike.

Abafana Bes'thende were also asking questions upfront and they got a penalty too in the 21st minute after Sifiso Ngobeni fouled Mmodi in the box and Nduduzo Sibiya levelled matters with powerful shot.

As the game opened up, Matsatsantsa restored their lead just four minutes later after Rasebotja fired home a low strike on the blind side in the box after a deep cut-back by Rayners.

Kaitano Tembo's charges had a bad start in the second stanza after they went down to ten men ten minutes from the restart after Thamsanqa Gabuza got a straight red card for a lunging tackle.

SuperSport were losing their discipline, as Rayners was also red-carded for a dangerous challenge on Nelson Ndlovu after an aerial battle.

Arrows gained the upper hand after that as Mutizwa levelled matters 13 minutes before time with a close-range finish at the back post after a low flicked header by Michael Gumede.

Velemseni Ndwandwe gave Arrows the lead a minute later with a downward header that went in off the crossbar after a cross by Sibiya.

United had a chance to salvage a point in the dying minutes after late substitute Ghampani Lungu found space in the box but his shot flashed narrowly wide and Arrows held on to leapfrog SuperSport into seventh spot on the log.
