TS Galaxy and Stellenbosch could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw in DStv Premiership action on Sunday evening.

From the goalless draw at Royal AM, the Rockets welcomed back forward Junior Traore and started Orebotse Mongae too whereas Stellies stayed unchanged from their 1-1 draw with Chippa United.

Very little separated the Rockets and Maroons following the start of the match as scoring opportunities from the set of teams were reduced to a premium.

Around the half-hour nark the balance of play remained tight and compact where few amount of spaces in and around the area were presented by either team.

Though, the host were close to making the breakthrough later in the half after a teasing shot by Sihle Ndluli from a promising position shaved the top of the crossbar.

Galaxy looked to make a fast opening to the second period and were close when a thumping strike from range by Bernard Parker worked a flying stop off goalkeeper Sage Stephens.

The Rockets continued to have a lot of the play in forward areas which allowed the Maroons little room to breathe, as Sinethemba Mngomezulu entered for Junior Mendieta on the path of the visitors.

Both teams found decent openings minutes in with Devon Titus set to a through pass only to see Melusi Buthelezi smother, while Tshegofatso Nyama rattled the side-netting from a tight angle.

Mngomezulu almost made the breakthrough from a stray pass around the last ten minutes and with Buthelezi out of position poked towards goal only to see the shot go wide.

A pretty quiet closing minutes in where little openings from the set of teams showed, thus the final score were goalless in Nelspruit.
