A defeat to Highlands Park tonight for struggling Absa Premiership side Free State Stars would leave the players demoralised, says the club's top striker Eleazar Rodgers.
Rodgers, who joined Ea Lla Koto at the beginning of the season, has so far netted four times in 19 league games, providing three assists.
Stars are currently sitting second from bottom on the table with 24 points from 25 matches, only four points above 16th-placed Maritzburg United.
"It will be another tough battle but we are ready for war and to fight for points. Away games are never easy," Rodgers tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"Any loss from now on will be very demoralising but we believe that we will start getting positive results."
Rodgers admits that as a team they will need to minimise their mistakes defensively to increase their chances of escaping relegation.
"Things happen in the game, either for us or against us, but we will work hard to minimise mistakes and push for positive results mentally and physically," he adds
The match at Makhulong Stadium kicks off at 19h30 tonight.
