Maritzburg United coach Eric Tinkler is aware of the danger of facing a wounded Cape Town City away from home tonight.
The Team of Choice have travelled to Cape Town for an Absa Premiership meeting with the Citizens at 20h00 coming from a good cup win over Bidvest Wits last Friday.
They will be facing a team that hasn't won in eight matches, and Tinkler says it won't be an easy task as Benni McCarthy's side will be looking to return to winning ways after another defeat last Saturday to Kaizer Chiefs.

"Another difficult game. Cape Town City are an extremely good team and they are also going through a bit of a period at the moment, and it's also important for them to get back to their winning ways so we've got be at our best to collect three points," Tinkler said ahead of the match.
Both coaches have a history of having a not-so-good relationship from the days when McCarthy was playing for Orlando Pirates and Tinkler was at Bidvest Wits. Ever since then they have always had interesting battles on and off the field.
Last time the teams met in Cape Town there was also on and off-field drama which saw Miguel Timm get a red card and Tinkler dissatisfied with the officiating on the day.

Vincent Kobola, who also worked at Cape Town City and is now assisting Tinkler, has commented on facing his former club who are struggling.
"As much as it used to be my home, now my home is Maritzburg United. I still respect everyone at City but now I belong here. I'm a winner and I want to win this game, it doesn't matter about the good relationship we have, we just want to win," Kobola added.
"City are not a bad team, they have a very great coach in Benni McCarthy and good players as well. They are just having a rough patch, they will bounce back. These things happens in football."

If there's something that could make things worse for McCarthy it would be losing to Maritzburg, who would leapfrog 10th-placed City by three points on the table if they win.
