Folz could become the first casualty of the DStv Premiership season following an underwhelming start to the current campaign.
The Limpopo-based are yet to taste victory so far this season with four draws and one defeat and sit rock-bottom of the standings.
According to sources close to Marumo Gallants, the former Township Rollers coach has been given the next three games to turn things around or face the exit door.
"The future of Romain Folz doesn't look good," a source tells KickOff.
"The club's management is not happy.
"He has been given the next three games against Swallows, Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United to pick up points or face the exit door.
Folz will be hoping that a win against Swallows FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday can change the fortunes of his side.
