Gavin Hunt wanted William Shongwe as Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper coach

New Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt was unable to bring another coach onto his technical team at the club, it has now been revealed.

According to a very reliable source, William Shongwe was nominated to be part of the new technical team at The Village but some at the club were happier for Lee Baxter to continue in the goalkeeper coach role.

Legendary ex-Amakhosi shot-stopper Shongwe previously worked with Hunt at SuperSport United in the same capacity.
