The PSL released a statement, which reads: 'The South African Football Association (SAFA) Review Committee has rescinded the yellow card awarded to Lamontville Golden Arrows player, Limbikani Mzava in accordance to NSL Handbook Rule 53.12 (mistaken identity).
'The player was given a yellow card during the Absa Premiership fixture between Bidvest Wits and Lamontville Golden Arrows, 11 April 2017 (20th minute).
'Upon receiving a report from the referee and reviewing match footage, the SAFA Review Committee concluded that Mzava was not supposed to have been cautioned and shown a yellow card as he did not commit any cautionable offense in terms of Law 12.'
