Golden Arrows' exciting midfielder Sanele Mathenjwa is grateful for what coach Steve Komphela has done for his career.
The Abafama Bes'thende coach has been praising Mathenjwa for his contribution to the team, which sees him get more attention whenever the team is playing.
The 24-year-old KwaMashu-born player says the arrival of Komphela changed everything in his life.
"When the coach arrived I was still playing in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge. He then took me to the senior side and told me I have potential to be the best player, I just need to be brave and free whenever I play," said Mathenjwa.
"He has changed me, the way I see things. I can believe again and my future is brighter than before. Also my teammates have been instrumental in my progress, I'm excited about everything.
"My dream is to play against the best teams in the world, I would love to see myself with the best players."
