"If he's playing we will know today," Chiefs Communications manager Vina Maphosa tells KickOff.com.
"If he doesn't play, what we are confirming is that he's a Kaizer Chiefs player, he's right with the club.
"As for playing we will not even tell you if Khama Billiat will play. We will not even tell you if Itumeleng Khune will play. So we don't inform anybody about who's going to play until we finish all our preparations.
"So it's neither here nor there at the moment. Yes he has arrived, he's playing for Kaizer Chiefs, and the process of finalising the paperwork is ongoing as well. The paperwork hadn't finished yesterday at the office.
"So it's a process that is undergoing, so if it's finished today the coach will still have to decide whether he plays or not, so my answer to you about playing is we will not tell if he's going to play."
Kick-off at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday is at 15h30.
