Chiefs were busy in the transfer market and following the release of 12 players they also brought in several players to plug in the holes.

AmaKhosi started with four of their new signings in Yusuf Maart, Ashley du Preez, Zitha Kwinika, and Siyethemba Sithebe in the 1-0 away defeat at Royal AM over the weekend.

In that match, yet another new man Dillan Solomons came on from the bench.

Then in the 3-0 midweek victory over Maritzburg United, Chiefs had six of their new man starting in Maart, Du Preez, Kwinika, Sithebe, Solomons, and Lehlogonolo George Matlou.

Du Preez responded with his first goal with the teenage star who was promoted from the club’s development Mduduzi Shabalala also added his name on the scoring charts with the third goal.

In fielding their new signings Chiefs have given the biggest indication of how much they will come in handy for them this season.

Fellow Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates have also had two of their new arrivals Bienvenu Eva Nga and Nkosinathi Sibisi scoring the two goals that the club has so far this term.

Sibisi has played from start to finish in both games.

The Bucs have also used both Tapelo Xoki and Miguel Timm.

Mamelodi Sundowns have also given minutes to Abubeker Ahmed Nasir and Sipho Mbule.

TS Galaxy have also used Sifiso Vilakazi just like Sekhukhune United have already given game time to Daniel Cardoso, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Linda Mntambo, Tashreeq Morris, and Victor Letsoalo amongst the myriad of signings that they have made.

At Royal AM both Ruzaigh Gamildien and Andre de Jong have already gotten on the scoresheet while Thulani Hlatshwayo is already wearing the armband at SuperSport United.

The trio of Gabadinho Mhango, George Maluleka, and Augustine Chidi Kwem are already moving with AmaZulu just like Waseem Isaacs at Swallows.
