Bimenyimana’s contract was wrapped up on Tuesday following marathon meetings at Naturena the previous day which involved Kaizer Motaung Snr and Kaizer Motaung Jr.

His paperwork was then sent over to him for processing with relevant authorities in the Great Lakes Region.

This website can now reveal that his flight left Kigali International Airport at 22:30 last night.

The striker was aboard flight WB102 of the RwandAir which touched down at OR Tambo International Airport at 01:55 from Kigali.

After undergoing all the relevant immigration procedures, he was then whisked away by three club officials.

Bimenyimana is likely to be presented by the club at their base in Naturena this morning.

Chiefs have had a change of mind in settling for their new number nine at the club following weeks of intense discussions and debates at Naturena.

They have started the new season without a ‘traditional nine’ which has raised concern for their lightweight forward line reliant more on pace than power.

Bimenyimana spent three weeks training with the club before leaving frustrated and without a deal towards the end of July.

Though Bimenyimana last played in Kazakhstan for Kaysar Kyzylorda before leaving at the beginning of the year he had also signed in Ukraine last year but couldn’t move after that country was invaded by Russia.
