Nange was sent off in Chiefs' final league encounter of last season against Swallows which ruled him out of Amakhosi's first two matches.
The midfielder missed a season-opening 1-0 defeat to Royal AM while also being absent for an impressive 3-0 win over Maritzburg United last Wednesday.
The 30-year-old now faces stiff competition for a starting place in the middle of the park.
Chiefs have recruited Yuusuf Maart from Sekhukhune United and Siyethemba Sithebe from AmaZulu in addition to Njabulo Blom, Cole Alexander and Sabelo Radebe.
"I don’t see it [new signings] as competition, I think it’s to improve the team," Nange said.
"It’s to make sure that we get what we want as a club and make sure that we win something at the end of the season. It’s not about the individual, it’s about the team and I’m happy to help where needed.
Chiefs next face newcomers Richards Bay in a league clash on Saturday at FNB Stadium.
