Kaizer Chiefs welcome fans' impending return to FNB Stadium

Earlier this week, South Africa's president Cyril Ramaphosa announced that outdoor venues would be permitted to host up to 50% of their capacity in a step towards easing Covid-19 restrictions across the country.

Following the proclamation, PSL chairman Irvin Khoza confirmed that supporters would now be allowed to return to stadiums for the first time since March 2020, with fans set to be welcomed back as early as next month's Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs, who boast the largest supporter base in the country, have welcomed the return of fans to the stadiums, and are expected to see supporters flock to the FNB Stadium when the club hosts SuperSport United on 16 April.
